The Islamic conference has finished and the Arabs have gone home. Open-backed trucks crawl along the curb picking up the pretty plants that for a week lined the roadsides; the stage set is coming down.

Nice pic. I was standing in line at the bakery today when a wailing siren announced a convoy with some hidden politican in a hurry. The man in front of me scowled. "Are we supposed to be impressed! We don't even have enough money to eat!"
